Stadium Security Issues
Wednesday, April 25, 2001
We spoke today to Peter Copland the Stadium Security Advisor regarding some issues raised about Monday nights game.

The first was the incident where a fan encroached on to the playing area. Peter advised that the incident is likely to be the subject of SFA action and the club could well be fined. The man involved has been cautioned by Police. The club will later review what action should be taken.

Peter once again asked fans to observe the ground regulations which are posted outside the ground at each home game and also posted on the webpage in the stadium section.

On the subject of damage to seats in the Caley Stand Peter advised that the seat damage was possibly not all deliberate. He advised that there may be a problem with the fixing of the seats to the concrete and he is looking at alternative fixings to prevent a re-occurence of the damage which is estimated at around £1,000.

On the subject of fans being injured during the goal celebrations he declined to comment since he still has to fully investigate this issue.
