St Mirren Memorabilia Auction

Season 2011-2012 has just ended and for St Mirren fans it was the Club’s best outing in over two decades as they achieved an 8th place finish.

The season will be long remembered for the exciting attacking football that manager Danny Lennon instilled in his side along with some memorable performances and we are giving you – the fans – a chance to own your very own piece of what was a very successful season.

Several of the players have signed and donated their boots to the Youth Development Programme and you have a chance of picking up what is sure to be a treasured item in an upcoming online auction.

Among the boots are the ones worn by Steven Thompson when he scored the injury time equaliser against Rangers at Ibrox last October and – as if that wasn’t good enough – we also have the boots that Paul McGowan wore when he scored the winning goal against Rangers on Christmas Eve.

David van Zanten, Nigel Hasselbaink, Craig Samson, Gary Teale and Graham Carey have also kindly signed and donated boots for auction, and we also have a 2011-2012 home shirt signed by the squad.

So keep your eyes peeled early next when we will confirm all the details on how you can land yourself a memorable keepsake from a memorable season.

All proceeds from the auction will go towards the Youth Development Programme to help develop and nurture the St Mirren players of the future.
