Rocco Quinn: Contract Extension

It has been confirmed this morning that Rocco Quinn has signed a contract extension with the club that will see him continue to ply his trade as a St Mirren player until the summer of 2018.

The midfielder signed for Saints on 15th January this year after leaving Ross County and has gone on to make 12 appearances so far in the black and white stripes.

The 29-year-old midfielder was a youth product of Celtic. Although he never made an appearance for the Glasgow side he had spells on loan with Kilmarnock, St Johnstone and Livingston before breaking away from Celtic Park and signing for Hamilton Academical for the second half of the 2008/09 season.

The following season Rocco moved to Queen of the South where he made 56 appearances for the Doonhamers before heading to the Highlands and signing for Ross County just ahead of season 2011/12 where the former Scotland Under-21 cap made 123 appearances, scoring 12 goals in the process.
