St Mirren Junior Academy

On Sunday 28th August, St Mirren’s Junior Academy players took part in the Paisley 3K Fun Run, raising Funds for Youth Development.  All the boys successfully completed the course and done terrifically well to finish the course in record time, beating some of their coaches!

Prizes were laid on for the boys who managed to raise the most funds. Charlie Carragher (under 10’s), Aaron Mason (under 11’s) and Reece Lyons (under 12’s) came 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively and can be seen below collecting their prizes.

A huge thank you goes out to all the parents, friends and extended family of all the players who helped all the boys round the course by cheering them on and with their sponsorship.

As part of a reward for all the boys’ hard work, the 8’s, 9’s, 10’s along with some of the 10’s Development Class got the chance to play on St Mirren Park at half time of the Scotland v Bulgaria Under 21 UEFA European Championship Qualifier. Have a look at the boys in action!
Well done!
