It has been confirmed this afternoon that central defender Illias Haddad has left the Club.
The 22-year-old Dutch-Moroccan - whose contract was due to expire at the start of the New Year – joined Saints on trial at their training camp during the pre-season, shortly afterwards he agreed on a short term deal with the Club.
Illias made his debut for Saints on August 2nd 2011 when he came on as a substitute in a 2-1 win against Hibernian at Easter Road. He went on to make a further 10 appearances for the Club.
Illias – who made 4 starts in his 11 appearances for the Club – was on the substitutes’ bench for last night’s game against Dundee United.
