Info for Disabled Fans (Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium)

WEBSITE – Good information about Parking and Access to Stadium (Click HERE).

TICKETING – Supporters pay at Dumbarton Main Entrance.

ARRIVING AT THE STADIUM – From Glasgow Road, follow the Historic Scotland sign for Dumbarton Castle.

CAR PARKING – Dedicated car park in Stadium grounds. No charge for Blue Badge. Buses drop supporters off beside turnstiles

VIEWING – Ground level in front of Stand allocated to Away Support. The absence of advertising hoardings directly in front of disabled spaces is an advantage. For ambulant supporters, the stairways are not too steep, but the seats are quite close together.

SHELTER – The viewing area faces north and has a generous overhang. This tends to shelter supporters from prevailing wind and rain, which normally comes from the west However, it can be quite cold when a northerly wind blows in winter.

DISPERSAL – Very efficient. Coaches can pick up supporters directly outside the exits.

LEAVING THE CAR PARK – There can be a hold-up on Castle Road because of cars attempting to turn right into Glasgow Road.

Suggestion…take the first left onto Leven Street, and left again where Leven Street meets Glasgow Road (going westwards away from Glasgow). At the next roundabout circle round and return eastwards on Glasgow Road.
